2. About Standalone Gallery
2.1Standalone Gallery is a gallery within Dalston’s 160DL studios. We present exhibitions, host cultural events and performances, and sell original artworks, limited edition prints, and music created in the space through this Website.
2.2All artworks and editions sold through the Website are created in connection with exhibitions and projects presented in the space, in collaboration with our artists.
2.3We also profile artists we exhibit, sharing information about their practice, background and work. Artist profiles are published with the artist’s knowledge and consent.
3. Changes to These Terms
3.1We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our Website, with the effective date stated at the top. We will notify you of material changes where reasonably practicable.
3.2By continuing to use our Website after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website.

4.1Our Website is provided free of charge. It has not been developed to meet your individual requirements and we cannot promise it will be fit or suitable for any specific purpose.

4.3You are responsible for making your own arrangements to access the Website, including all associated costs, and for ensuring any device you use is compatible with it.
4.4When using our Website, you must not:

5. Events
5.1We list events on our Website including performances, talks, launches and other cultural programmes. Events may be ticketed (via third-party platforms such as RA or Outsavvy) or free to attend by RSVP.
5.2Where tickets are purchased through a third-party ticketing platform, your purchase is subject to that platform’s own terms and conditions. We are not a party to those transactions and accept no liability in respect of them.
5.3We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule or modify any event at any time. Where an event is cancelled and you have purchased a ticket through our Website, we will contact you using the details you provided at the time of booking to arrange a refund or alternative. Where tickets are sold via a third-party platform, refund requests must be directed to that platform.
5.4Attendance at our events is subject to any additional venue terms notified to you at the time of booking or at the venue. We reserve the right to refuse admission where these terms are not observed.
6. Purchasing Artworks, Editions and Music
6.1Artworks, limited editions and music releases are sold through our Website via Shopify. By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the relevant product. We will confirm acceptance of your order by email.
6.2All prices are listed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the prevailing rate. Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown clearly at checkout.
6.3We take payment via the payment methods made available at checkout, processed securely through Shopify’s payment infrastructure. We do not store your payment card details.
6.4Title in any product passes to you upon receipt of full payment and successful delivery.
6.5All artworks and editions are described as accurately as possible, including edition number, medium, dimensions and condition where relevant. Colours may vary slightly from those shown on screen due to differences in display settings and photographic reproduction.
Limited Editions and Original Works
6.6All artworks and editions sold through Standalone Gallery are originals or limited editions created in collaboration with the relevant artist. Edition details (e.g. 1/10) are stated on each product listing and included with the work on delivery.
Music Releases
6.7Music sold through the Website may be in physical format (such as vinyl or CD) or as a digital download. Physical music releases are subject to the same returns policy as artworks. Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to digital downloads once they have been delivered.
Returns and Cancellations
6.8As a consumer purchasing goods online in the UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please notify us at contact@160dl.co.uk within the cancellation period.
6.9Returned goods must be in their original, undamaged condition, with all packaging intact. Return postage costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrectly described. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to bespoke, made-to-order or personalised items where production has begun at your request, or to digital downloads once delivered.
Damaged or Incorrect Goods
6.10If you receive a damaged or incorrectly described item, please contact us at contact@160dl.co.uk within 48 hours of receipt with a description and photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate, in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Artist Profiles
7.1We publish profiles of artists we exhibit, which may include biographical information, images of their work, statements and links to their wider practice. All profiles are published with the artist’s consent.
7.2If you are an artist and have a concern about how your profile is presented, please contact us at contact@160dl.co.uk and we will address it promptly.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1The Website and its content — including text, images, artwork reproductions, logos, design and software — are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights belonging to 160DL Limited and/or our artists or licensors. All rights are reserved.
8.2You may view, print or share content from our Website for your own personal, non-commercial use only, provided you acknowledge the source and do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices.
8.3You must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, modify or create derivative works from any content on our Website without our prior written consent and, where relevant, the consent of the artist.

12. General
12.1These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any purchase-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in respect of your use of the Website.
12.2If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
12.3Our failure to exercise any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
12.4You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
12.5These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that residents of Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.
