Launched in 2025, STANDALONE is a new artist residency space within Dalston's 160DL studios, built to move and adapt around the artists who inhabit it.

We exist as an interdisciplinary creative space for emerging artists to develop their work, collaborate, and document the process. STANDALONE hosts exhibitions, performances, educational exchanges, and the slower, less visible processes that make meaningful work possible.

We believe culture is built through collaboration, not in isolation. That process is as important as the outcome. That documenting grassroots creative culture is itself part of the practice. That audiences have access to meaningful work that feels tangible and intentional.

Through our residents' exhibitions, we generate work that entertains, educates, and connects.
